The University of Victoria’s (UVIC) CO-OP program is inaccessible – the CO-OP website is cluttered, the jobs are full-time, and there isn’t any guidance on how to navigate the CO-OP program with a disability/ies.

Luckily, there are some recent resources through the university and CanASSIST that can hopefully help you find meaningful work experience. While these programs do not erase the accessibility barriers of UVIC’s standard CO-OP program, they do provide 1:1 job coaching and tailored job opportunities specifically for students with a disability/ies.
