Since COVID-19, the SSD has been delivering biweekly food/grocery boxes to over 45 vulnerable students at the University of Victoria. This program will only be continued until Uvic’s Winter 2/Spring semester, 2021.
If you are a student at UVic who is extra vulnerable to COVID-19 due to your disability(ies) and would benefit from biweekly grocery deliveries to your door, sign up here for this program.
As of September, 2020, the SSD has updated its Funding Policy for students at Uvic who identify as having one or more Disability.
If you are currently attending classes at Uvic and are experiencing educational barriers because of your disability(ies), you may be eligible for funding towards a barrier-reducing device!
Please read the following eligibility and application guidelines in our Funding Policy before submitting a funding application. Incomplete or incorrectly-filled Funding Applications will not be reviewed.
If you have already read and understood the guidelines for the Funding Application, you can submit yours here.
